Chaos Clock

Description

This started as a graphed drawing with a Sharpie. I made it to get a digital signature originally(which you can see in all of my pieces). Always wanted to do other things with it. Same scanned picture with a whole lot of stuff added to it for flavor on ye old Photoshop.

The title eludes to the thinking that we as humans on this planet might not have much time left here. The final countdown. ChaosAgentBetrayed will surely have some text additions. There's no practical doubt about that. No matter my own intentions, let the eyes wander/wonder about for a while. I'm sure there's something interesting there provided that you're willing to accept the control that your imagination has over you.

Can we salvage what's left? It's up to you to decide!

Edit: 01.24.05 - Erased constricting edges. Brightened it up a bit. Why should the end be a negative thing?

E, I really love the background effect that hints at sand-hourglass reminicient and fits in with the idea of time running out-chaos clocking and all. Another layer seems to be stars in a galaxy, which melds surprisingly well-I would like to know more about the border of the piece, though, as it appears to be crushed velvet or something similar & somehow seems completely irrelevant to the rest. After staring for awhile on full-view, I realized this is fantastic overall. I was also thinking about the idea that if an actual, real clock that counts down the existence of the human race doesn't that imply predestination, fate, the true admittance that a controlling, all-knowing superbeing must exist? (could be "mother earth", could be "god", etc.) If it is chaos, then I don't think it could be counted down to, by definition alone-it would happen whenever the fuck it feels like it. So, choas clock might be inside ourselves?
